The County Council have announced the temporary closure of this bridleway (WN 2/36) at its western end near the station. The route will be closed to all traffic for up to six months, to allow building works to take place. There is a notice posted at the eastern end of the bridleway on Wyke Road, warning of the closure.

This bridleway forms part of the most direct route on foot between Bruton and the station. If you are planning to walk to the station for any reason please take another route (eg along Maggs Lane).
